Responsibilities

• Conduct secure Remote Online Notarization (RON) sessions using approved digital notarization platforms.
• Verify signer identity through Credential Analysis (CA), Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA), and visual ID review procedures.
• Ensure all documents are properly completed, signed, dated, and notarized in compliance with Tennessee laws and company standards.
• Guide clients through the online signing process with patience, professionalism, and clear communication.
• Maintain accurate and legally compliant electronic journals and digital records for every notarization performed.
• Troubleshoot common technical issues related to webcams, microphones, browsers, internet connectivity, and document uploads.
• Protect confidential client information and maintain strict data privacy standards.
• Provide a polished, modern, and professional remote experience that reflects the Griffin brand.

Requirements

• Active Tennessee Notary Commission in good standing, or willingness to obtain one through our guided onboarding process.
• Must reside in Tennessee.
• High-speed cable or fiber internet connection with reliable upload/download speeds.
• HD webcam, microphone, and a quiet professional workspace.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable assisting clients who may have limited technical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Remote Online Notarization (RON) platforms.
• Experience in customer support, technical support, or administrative roles.
• Flexible availability, including evenings or weekends when needed.
